Why?
With all the good Christian music out there, there's no way the small group of guitarists at guitarpraise (or any other website) can keep up with all the songs that need to be tabbed and chord-ed out. Here, the entire Christian music community can help one another out, and share chords/tabs that they have done, whether for their music ministries or in their own time. Through this, we can build up a database for everyone to use.

A quick guide
The chords and tabs are arranged by artist, and are listed on the sidebar on the left. To add a new artist, click 'add page' at the bottom of the side bar. To add a new song, click on the artist's page first, followed by 'add page'. After adding a song, remember to place a link to it from the artist page.



Don't flout copyrights!
While helping one another out, we need to be mindful of copyright laws so as to respect the good work done by artists and bands. To do so, do not publish song lyrics. Instead, use headers like 'verse', 'chorus', and the first two or three words of each section to guide readers along (its in the template). Check out the chords for This is Our God as an example.

Lastly, if the ads bother you, install 'adblock plus' (if you're running mozilla), which blocks out ads from all sorts of sites.
